PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Officials at Philadelphia International Airport say hundreds of flights were canceled due to the latest winter storm but normal operations are expected to resume around midday.

Spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says airlines reported around 100 canceled flights Sunday night and 400 flights Monday morning in anticipation of the storm.

Lupica says normal operations should resume at about noon with all four runways available for operations Monday afternoon.

Forecasters warned of hazardous driving conditions and speed limits were reduced to 45 mph on a number of roads, including some interstates.

Philadelphia declared a snow emergency and public school and archdiocese classes were canceled.
