TE Brandon Pettigrew
News: The big tight end had been quiet, dropping the only ball thrown his way, before catching the game-winning 54-yard touchdown pass with 1:37 to play.

Views: Defenses are well aware of Pettigrew and Tech focused on him Saturday. But he must be more involved.

OSU secondary
News: Tech quarterback Graham Harrell torched the Cowboys for 646 passing yards, the fourth-highest total in NCAA history, yet came up big in the fourth quarter with several breakups.

Views: The Red Raiders rip up a lot of teams and OSU cornerback Martel Van Zant was limited by a sore foot. The Cowboys have concerns, yet they also revealed a glimmer of hope at crunch time.

C Andrew Lewis
News: Lewis shifted from guard to center after three-year starter David Washington was lost for the season with a broken leg. There was one fumbled snap, otherwise the offense didn't miss a beat.

Views: After much consternation during the week, Lewis passed his first major test, as did an offensive line that required shuffling.
