TEN IS THE NEW ZERO: Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. is rolling out 10-calorie versions of Sunkist, 7-Up, Canada Dry, RC Cola and A&W Root Beer. The drinks build on last year's launch of Dr Pepper Ten, which was marketed as a better-tasting diet alternative for men.

NOT JUST FOR MEN: Unlike traditional zero-calorie diet sodas, the company says its 10-calorie drinks have just enough high-fructose corn syrup to overcome any reservations about the weak or cloying taste of diet drinks. The new drinks will be marketed to both men and women.

THE ROLLOUT: The 10-calorie sodas will start hitting stores in January, with a major ad campaign planned for March.
