THE LOSERS: Ford and Lincoln, once top performers, fell to the bottom of the rankings because of persistent glitches.

HOW THEY'RE RANKED: Consumer Reports predicts the reliability of 2013 models by questioning readers about vehicles they own from the 2010-2012 model years. This year, 800,000 readers gave information on 1.2 million cars and trucks.
