NFL considering expanding playoffs, nixing cold-weather Super Bowls

Just because New Jersey is hosting a Super Bowl this year, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said other cold weather teams like Philadelphia and Buffalo shouldnt get their hopes up.



Goodell touched on a wide range of subjects in a Tuesday night interview, including the prospect of the NFL expanding its current playoff system, and a postseason schedule including potential games on Friday and Monday.
