Bradford likely to stay in school
Don’t be so quick to put University of Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford in an NFL uniform. The redshirt sophomore from Putnam City North almost certainly would be a top five pick in next April’s draft if he comes out early, which would mean a contract with as much as $40 million in guaranteed money. But people in Norman who know Bradford think there’s a good chance he may pass on the big bucks for a year and stay in school. Bradford is a recently named second-team academic All-American with a 3.95 GPA in finance. Then again, maybe all that means is that he’s way too smart to thumb his nose at $40 million.
