Many NFL players will go to a mall this offseason. Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam, though, is working in one.

Elam was a first-round pick out of the University of Florida in 2013, but he's taken a part-time job in the offseason as a sales associate at Finish Line in Gainesville, Fla., before he reports back to Ravens camp in April.

Elam, who made a reported $3.7 million (salary and signing bonus) last season, says he wants to get into the sports merchandise business one day and he's using the part-time gig to gain retail knowledge.
