NFL selling $50,000 Super Bowl tables

Talk about expanding your brand. The NFL is getting into food.

The league will hire Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group to run a pop-up steakhouse the week before the 2014 Super Bowl in New York City.



The most desirable tables will be offered at $50,000 -- a package that includes food and non-alcoholic drinks, four tickets to the Super Bowl and the NFL Tailgate Party, a stadium parking pass and a concierge to manage reservations.

Forty Ate, named after the 48th edition of the league's championship game, will serve lunch, dinner and bar snacks from Jan. 27 to gameday on Feb. 2.
