NHL suspends Flyers F Rinaldo for 2 games
NEW YORK (AP) — The NHL has suspended Philadelphia Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo for two games for launching to hit Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson on Sunday.
The league announced the ban on Monday.
Rinaldo received a minor penalty for charging following the incident at 13:25 of the first period. The Red Wings went on to win 4-3 to match an NHL record with their 20th consecutive home victory.
