The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Thursday that veteran forward Nick Collison underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

Collison is expected to miss 4-6 weeks before returning to normal offseason activities.

This past season, Collison appeared in 81 games and averaged 4.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.7 minutes per game.

Collison, who will be 34 at the beginning of next season, is entering a critical final year of his contract.
