Nine are inducted in the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame

Nine journalists  were inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame Thursday at a luncheon at the Nigh University Center at University of Central Oklahoma. They received engraved plaques. Dr. Terry M. Clark presided and was master of ceremonies. He introduced former honorees who were in the audience.

2014 Inductees were Ed Blochowiack, Tom Boone, Jay Cronley, Carolyn Estes, Larry Ferguson, Kelly Dyer Fry, William A Hamilton, Tim Schnoebelen and Jan Stratton. All gave brief remarks about their journalism careers.

The event is sponsored by the Mass Communication Department of UCO.

Bart Williams, Scott Briggs and Chris Reen were at the luncheon.
