BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Afure Jemerigbe's layup with seven seconds left earned No. 19 California a come-from-behind, 57-55 win over No. 17 Colorado Friday night.
Down by 10 points with under six minutes to play, the Golden Bears (11-3, 2-1 Pac-12 ) battled back to take the lead on a pair of Courtney Range free throws with 1:58 remaining, 54-53.
Arielle Roberson's free throws with 16 seconds left gave Colorado the lead, 55-54, but Jemerigbe got to the basket on the break for the game-winner.
The Buffaloes (10-4, 1-2) called time out with five seconds left, but Range got a hand on the in-bounds pass at mid-court and ran down the loose ball before drawing a foul from Roberson and making the first of two free throws.
Cal's Rashanda Gray had 15 points and Brittany Boyd added 13 points and eight boards. Range pulled down nine rebounds.
Roberson led Colorado with 21 points.
