Nonprofit Raindrop Foundation will host Turkish festival in Oklahoma City

Raindrop Foundation will host Turkish festival on Saturday and Sunday in Oklahoma City.

Members of the nonprofit Raindrop Foundation will hold a free Turkish festival Saturday and Sunday.

The festival will feature authentic Turkish food, music and art and is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Raindrop Foundation is at 4444 N Classen Blvd.

The organization was founded by Turkish-Americans in Houston in 2000 and now operates in eight states including Oklahoma. Organizers aim to introduce Turkish culture into American society and cultivate friendships and understanding through community service and open dialogue.
