Get ready to peruse the racks at Nordstrom Rack. The designer outlet opens its doors Sept. 12.
The store marks Nordstrom's entry into the Oklahoma market; the Rack is the off-price division of the upscale retailer, with sought after brand name apparel, accessories and shoes at lower prices.
Nordstrom Rack is taking over the former Linens ‘n Things at Belle Isle Station, just east of Penn Square Mall.
The 34,000-square-foot store will carry clothing for men, women and children.
The store opens at 9 a.m. Sept. 12 and the first 1,000 shoppers receive a free reusable tote bag.
At 8 a.m., the grand opening begins with music, breakfast treats and chances to win gift cards, the retailer said.
The Rack isn't the only new store opening shoppers are looking forward to. DSW, or Designer Shoe Warehouse, is opening in Norman's University North Park shopping center, alongside a new Michaels and HomeGoods. A ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m. Aug. 29.
DSW, which offers brand name and designer shoes for men, women and children, also has stores in Oklahoma City, at Pennsylvania Avenue and Memorial Road, and in Tulsa at Southern Trails.
