Tech center will have EMT program

Moore Norman Technology Center has a new emergency medical technician paramedic program set to begin Feb. 5. The class is offered in a part-time format and covers curriculum for preparation to become an emergency medical technician and/or paramedic. Sheriff recognizes deputies

Cleveland County Sheriff Joe Lester recognized employees and honored several with special awards at a recent Christmas party. Employee Jonathon Jackson was named deputy of the year. Cathy Suttle was named operations civilian of the year. Detention officer of the year went to Cesar Alamillo. Tina Fowble was honored as detention center employee of the year. Reserve deputy of the year is Butch Turner. Fred Seals was named volunteer of the year, and Ron Blissit received a citizen of the year award.
