A collaboration of the University of Oklahoma School of Music and the museum, Tuesday Noon Concerts offer a 30-minute concert each Tuesday through Nov. 13 featuring OU music students and faculty.

Museum admission is free Tuesdays.

Music professor Christine Souza's percussion students head up the series this week, followed by the Flute and OK Woodwind Quintet under the direction of Valerie Watts on Sept. 18. Additional concerts including opera, piano, viola, tuba, euphonium, organ and voice studio are scheduled weekly throughout the fall.

“There are several places to enjoy your lunch break; why not the museum?” said Katie Parker, audience development manager for the museum. “This is a great collaboration between the museum and Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. It's also a wonderful opportunity for the community to see what fine arts students and faculty are achieving this fall, as well as what's new at the museum.”

A complete listing of upcoming Tuesday Noon Concerts dates and performers is available at www.ou.edu/fjjma.

The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art is in the OU Arts District at 555 Elm Ave. on the Norman campus.
