NORMAN — An anniversary celebration at STASH tops the list of activities Friday for the monthly art walk.
The vintage clothing and memorabilia store at 412 E Main St. will mark its third year in business with door prizes, live music, a massage station, a photo booth and a classic car show.
The Second Friday Circuit of Art begins at 6 p.m., with most venues remaining open until 9 or 10 p.m. After-hour shows also are featured at some locales.
Cosmonautilus and Max Artho, as well as Blacktop Democracy + Friends, will perform at STASH.
The work of Tulsa mosaic artist Jacqueline Iskander will be featured in a solo exhibit at the Santa Fe Depot gallery, 200 S Jones Ave. An opening reception will honor Iskander with music provided by University of Oklahoma graduate students.
Iskander has studied with mosaic masters in the United States and Italy. She has a roster of exhibitions to her credit and an impressive output of work. Her materials include multiple types of stones, traditional Italian glass, mosaic gold, shells and coral, minerals and fossils, found natural objects, broken dishes and ceramics. “Arty in Mosaic” continues through Oct. 30.
