Norman bank collects treats for troops
IBC Bank’s branch at 2403 W Main St. is involved through Nov. 30 in a drive to collect care package items for U.S. troops abroad. A shopping list of suggested items, such as gum, travel-size toiletries and playing cards, is available at participating branches. Letters of support for the troops will be accepted for placement in the packages. IBC is working with Operation Interdependence, a civilian-to-military delivery system, to pack and ship the goods overseas. IBC branches in the state are participating.
