Water customers receive report

Every water utility customer in Norman will receive or already has received a copy of the Consumer Confidence Report. The annual report mailed to each customer is mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The report informs the public about water quality, consumer demand and ways to conserve water.

The city meets, and in many cases, exceeds the National Drinking Water Standards set by the EPA, according to the report.

Signs added near park

Beginning Monday, city traffic control crews will begin installing “no parking any time” signs along the west side of Astor Drive, between S Teton Lane and Tecumseh Road.

The new restriction is being established at the request of the Cascades Estates Home Owners Association and area residents to discourage parking on both sides of the street near Cascade Park.
