Library Day set at museum

The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and the Pioneer Library System will team up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday to present Library Day at the museum, 2401 Chautauqua Ave. Library staff will register anyone who doesn't already have a library card, and the names of new cardholders will be entered into a raffle for a free family museum membership. Free one-day museum passes also will be given to new cardholders as long as supplies last. Story times will be offered every hour, and craft activities will be available for children.

Police conduct survey

The Norman Police Department is conducting a community satisfaction survey, aimed at improving police services to residents. The survey is a cooperative effort between the police department and the University of Oklahoma Center for Spatial Analysis. Survey participants are being selected randomly to participate and are notified by mail. If you receive a mailer, you may respond by computer, telephone or, if preferred, by requesting a paper copy. The survey will continue throughout July.
