Norman City Council wants to fix flooding problem at Lindsey and McGee streets

NORMAN — For more than 30 years, the intersection at Lindsey Street and McGee Drive has been dubbed “Lake McGee” during heavy rains. Barricades come out, warning signs go up and motorists plow through the high water at their own peril.

“It's not just drainage; it's not just nuisance water. It's flooding, and it's a safety issue,” said Public Works Director Shawn O'Leary .
