Norman City Council welcomes new members

Two new Norman City Council members are sworn in during ceremony as two incumbents begin third two-year terms.

— Two new council members were seated and two incumbents were sworn in for new terms of office in special ceremonies this week at city hall.

Seated for the first time Tuesday were Greg Jungman, representing Ward 4, and Chad Williams, representing Ward 8.

Jungman, 35, replaces outgoing Councilwoman Carol Dillingham. He is the Oklahoma director of affordable housing for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Williams, 33, business administrator at Harvest Church, replaces outgoing Councilman Dan Quinn.

Incumbents Tom Kovach, 49, representing Ward 2, and James Griffith, Ward 6, were sworn in for their third two-year terms on the council.
