— Westwood Water Park went to the dogs over the weekend, but just for a day.

The Norman Community Dog Park sponsored its annual Pooch Pool Party on Sunday, marking the end of the swimming season at the municipal pool. The event gives dogs a chance to take a dip in the pool before it's drained.

The city's two splash pads at Colonial Estates Park and Andrews Park also have closed for the season.
