Acting troupe will perform
NORMAN — DWe Williams and her acting troupe “Rhythmically Speaking” will perform at 2 and 7 p.m. Monday at the Norman Public Library, 225 N Webster Ave. The theme of the performance will be “See a Play, Dream a Dream.” Children may be called upon to participate in the program if their parents have signed a release form in advance. Teens can make party food
NORMAN — The Norman Public Library will host a “party food” workshop for teenagers at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lowry Room at the library. Participants will get tips on easy-to-make party food for summer get-togethers with friends.
Supplies will be provided by the Friends of the Norman Public Library. The workshop is free, but registration is required. To register, call 701-2600 or go to www.justsoyouknow.us/norman.
Genealogy research is topic
NORMAN — The Norman Public Library is sponsoring a free genealogy research workshop at 1 p.m. June 13 in the computer training center at the library. The workshop will be led by Ron Arons, author of several works including “The Jews of Sing-Sing,” which was inspired by his research of an ancestor.
