Computer classes set

The Norman Public Library is offering a slate of free computer classes in September. Instruction is intended for beginners. Each class includes instruction and guided hands-on practice. To register or find out more about the classes, call 701-2697 or go to

Story times scheduled

The Pioneer Library System and the University of Oklahoma Confucian Institute are partnering on a series of family-oriented story times. “Chinese Storytelling with Cartoons” will be at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sept. 22 in the Campbell Gallery Room at the library, 225 N Webster Ave. Cartoonist James Yang will use Chinese-style comics to illustrate traditional Chinese fairy tales and folk tales.
