Norman library sets computer classes

The Norman Public Library has announced its schedule of computer classes for January.

— Registration is open for the Norman Public Library's January computer classes. The classes are free, but registration is required. To register, call 701-2697 or go to www.justsoyouknow.us/norman.

Classes include:

Computer basics, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Basic Windows 7 (two-part class), 1 to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Basic word processing (four-part class), 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 14-17.

Microsoft Publisher, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 18.

Microsoft Excel (four-part class), 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 22-25.

Microsoft PowerPoint, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 28.

Email basics, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 9.

Computer security, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 10.

Facebook for beginners, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 11.

Internet 1, 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 18.

Basic image editing (two-part class), 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 24-25.

Blogging for beginners, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 28.

Planning for travel online, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 29.

What's Twitter?, 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 30.

Build a Google website, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

Pinterest, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 31.
