The cheapest places to live aren't necessarily the best places to live. With this in mind, Kiplinger sought out to identify the most inexpensive cities where you would actually want to live, based on economic health and affordability.
And Norman, Okla. is one of them.
Kiplinger reports the unemployment rate is the second-lowest among our 10 finalists, and no other city on this list beats Norman's exceptionally low cost of living. The residents also have lots of things to do, many of which revolve around their beloved Sooners. But, the fun isn't limited to sports. There's OU's Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art and The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
