Norman museum offers free admission

‘Drawing from Nature’
Third- through fifth-graders can use three different art media to create works inspired by nature.
The museum is accepting registrations for "Drawing from Nature,” which has sessions from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Nov. 5 and Nov. 12.
Each workshop will focus on a different artistic medium: drawing, painting and printing.
The cost for the three-day workshop is $20 for museum members or $30 for nonmembers.

Girl Scouts rock
Girl Scouts can learn about all kinds of rocks while completing requirements to earn a badge at special "Rocks Rock!” workshops to be offered Nov. 7 at the museum.
Brownies will complete all requirements to earn an Earth and Sky badge; juniors will complete requirements for a Rocks Rock badge. Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors are eligible to attend a workshop that can earn a Digging Through the Past badge.
The museum, will not supply badges.
The cost is $7 per Scout; one adult will be admitted free for every five Scouts.
