"What’s an Equinox, Anyway?” for children age 5 and older will begin the day’s sessions at 10 a.m., Director Kathy Furneaux said.

A hands-on talk about "Oklahoma Turtles” will be at 11 a.m. Participants will be able to help feed the seven different kinds of turtles that live at the center.

"Fall Bookmarks” will begin at 1 p.m. Children age 3 and older will make and decorate one-of-a-kind bookmarks.

"Plaster Casts” will follow at 2:30 p.m. for children age 2 and older. Participants will make plaster casts of animal footprints. Casts will require about an hour to set. A 50 cent material fee will be charged for the bookmark and plaster casts sessions. The other two sessions are free.
