Norman North seniors earn $3.4 million in scholarships

NORMAN - The Norman North High School Class of 2006 was offered more than $3.4 million in scholarships.

These scholarships were awarded to students:

Brandon Doull, $305,000 to attend the United States Air Force Academy.

Oklahoma City University awarded scholarships to: Lucy Grotts, $21,400; Nora Hall, $16,000; Branda Kelley, $64,000; Sarah Meyer, $110,000; Arin Warren, $14,400.

The University of Oklahoma awarded scholarships to: Sarah Boyd, $4,350; Kaylee Brewer, $1,000; David Burget, $4,750; Angela Cejda, $1,000; Jeremy Clark, $500; David Collins, $8,850; Chelsea Crider, $1,000; Jason Cruz, $1,000; Andrew Dobry, $1,500; Foster Dobry, $7,000; Anne Murphy Eskridge, $1,000; Stephen Folmar, $19,200; Sarah Foster, $9,000; Marcus Graham, $2,500; John Gutierrez, $1,000; Katie Jo Hill, $1,000; Ashley Jain, $28,200; Matthew Jones, $1,000; Hassan Karim, $1,000; Robert Love, $3,000; Bahar Malakouti, $7,000; Vania Mardirossian, $1,000; Morgen Moxley, $1,000; Nicki Nabavizadeh, $8,000; Donald Norris, $9,500; Conner Peterson, $41,500; William Purcell, $1,000; Yonathan Reches, $31,000; Derek Renfro, $1,000; Jess Reynolds, $3,000; Jared Smith, $4,000; Alexander Spray, $41,500; A.J. Moore-Norman Technology Center awarded $1,800 scholarships to Lauren Franke and Josh Starbuck.

Oklahoma State University awarded scholarships to:

Alison Canada, $500; Brittany Chute, $8,000; Jacob McDonald, $10,000; Megan Ridley, $8,000; David Roberts, $500; Maria Roberts, $1,900; Matt Schemmer, $11,000; Leah Stock, $8,000; Melissa Stringer, $8,000.

East Central State University awarded Erin Miller $17,440 in scholarships.

The University of Central Oklahoma awarded scholarships to:

Stephanie Colaluca, $1,400; Laura Humphrey, $2,000; Chase Moore, $16,875; Maegan Nicholson, $1,900; Megan Shaw, $600; Elaine Smothers, $1,800; Tiffany Yohn, $1,400.

Oklahoma Baptist University awarded $2,500 to Tara Galbraith.

Oklahoma Christian University awarded $4,000 to Tyler Brady.

Southern Nazarene University awarded $28,000 to Sierra Etheridge.

Northeastern Oklahoma University awarded $6,484 to David Linke.
