Police arrested four men Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a man Thursday night.

Justin Barnard, 24, of Norman, was killed when four men broke into his home and shot him in the face. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Friday, Norman police arrested Isaiah Walker, 23, Rusty Wooten, 31, Jason Harris, 28, and Michael Tubby, 21, on complaints of murder and burglary. All four men are from Oklahoma City.

The incident started in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night after a dispute between Barnard and his girlfriend. Police said they believe the four men broke into the home, which Barnard shares with his grandmother, shot him in retaliation and took his grandmother’s wallet.

There is no evidence at this time to suggest Barnard’s girlfriend was involved in his death, police said.

During the break-in, Barnard’s grandmother was also hurt, but her injuries were not life threatening. She was treated and released from a hospital Thursday night.

Walker, Wooten, Harris and Tubby were booked into Cleveland County jail on Friday.
