Norman residents celebrate Fourth of July in style

Norman Day 2012, the city-sponsored celebration in honor of the nation's birthday, featured pony rides, inflatables, a watermelon feed, live music and fireworks at Reaves Park.

— Hundreds of people turned out for Norman Day 2012 festivities to celebrate the Fourth of July at Reaves Park.

The city-sponsored event offered pony rides, inflatables, a baby crawl contest, live music, food vendors, free watermelon, snow cones and an evening fireworks display.
