Norman residents celebrate Independence Day

A Norman Day celebration in Reaves Park drew a crowd, while some residents chose to celebrate the holiday in their neighborhoods.

Residents flocked to Reaves Park on the Fourth of July for the city’s annual Norman Day celebration that included games, inflatables for children, food, live music and a fireworks display.

Some residents celebrated the holiday in their own neighborhoods. For instance, residents in the Remington and Stonebrook additions held a children’s parade, something that has become an annual tradition for them.
