NORMAN — Members of the Norman Roundup Club are sponsoring a series of youth rodeos and other equine events this month and continuing through October. All events are at the club's arena on 60th Avenue NW between Robinson Street and Alameda Avenue and are open to everyone.

The youth rodeos featuring steer riding, barrel racing, goat tying, boot scrambles, mutton busting and stick-horse barrel racing contests are set for 8 p.m. July 18, July 25, Aug. 15, Aug. 22, Sept. 12, Sept. 26 and Oct. 4.

Roundup club members recently completed a series of exhibition barrel racing events and now are practicing for team sorting exhibitions scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 9 and 23 and 6 p.m. Sept. 6 and 20.
