School Board President Darry Stacy said he hoped the open houses would inspire a large turnout and serve as a catalyst for more dialogue on how the district should make improvements in future years.

“It is important the community see firsthand what their investment in Norman's schools has accomplished and to know the district and board of education have been loyal stewards of their tax dollars,” Stacy said.

Stacy said the district faces other capital needs, and the board would like to hear input from members of the community about their concerns and desires for future development.
