Norman United Way programs get funding boost
NORMAN — United Way of Norman's 2010 campaign raised more money than expected, resulting in some programs getting an additional funding boost, officials said.
About $128,800 more than the $1.165 million already distributed will be divided among 18 programs. The programs were notified by letter last week of the additional money each would receive, said Kristin Collins , United Way of Norman president.
