The school district has teamed up with the Oklahoma Caring Van to provide the vaccinations. The van is a program of the Oklahoma Caring Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.

The van will visit each of the district’s middle schools and high schools between Nov. 17 and Dec. 7. The shots are voluntary. Permission slips will be at the schools for parents to sign.

School officials are offering vaccinations to help stop the spread of flu, according to school health officials.
