North Carolina cowgirl paralyzed in accident at the International Finals Youth Rodeo
SHAWNEE — A North Carolina cowgirl was critically injured Monday evening at the International Finals Youth Rodeo when she was tossed from her horse during a practice run.
Kelly Blanton, 18, of Taylorsville , N.C. was bucked off her horse as she practiced breakaway roping before Monday night's performance of the IFYR.
