Northwestern 84, ORU 54 in women's basketball

EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Northwestern held Oral Roberts to 31.5 percent shooting and forced 27 ORU turnovers in an 84-54 win over the Golden Eagles.

Northwestern scored the first nine points of Monday's game in Evanston, Ill., and never trailed, leading 43-24 at halftime and by as many as 33 points during the second half.

Christen Inman and Maggie Lyon led the Wildcats with 17 points each while Christian Key led ORU with 15 points.

Northwestern improves to 8-2 with the win while ORU falls to 1-7.
