Not all senior citizens fear Obamacare

In response to Susan Dixon (Your Views, July 6): As a senior citizen, I don't fear Obamacare. I protest the frequent implications that seniors are frightened, paranoid and greedy. Almost every senior I know volunteers, donates to good causes and is generously concerned about all of our citizens and future generations. Our state leaders are refusing to establish our exchange and continue to make affordable health care a political issue. This adds to the misperception that the new law “is borne on the backs of senior citizens” and that “no new doctors are on the horizon.”
