Not looking back: Former Tulsa Washington star Robert Meachem passed on OU out of high school, and he's been moving on ever since

Funny thing about Oklahoma highways. They are two-way streets. Those roads bring people in. They also take people out.
Soon enough, Demarco Cobbs will take U.S. 75, pass through Colbert and bid Oklahoma good-bye en route to Austin. Calvin Barnett will drive the Cherokee Turnpike and say farewell in West Siloam Springs, on his way to Fayetteville. Tre’ Porter will zip across I-40, maybe stop off in Erick for a cinnamon roll at Cal’s Diner, before crossing the state line on his way to Lubbock. Don’t begrudge them. Those same pavements have brought Barry Sanders and Billy Sims, Jack Mildren and Zac Robinson, to Oklahoma. What goes around comes around, and what’s come around is this. Oklahoma’s best chance for a Super Bowl hero is a guy once branded as a traitor.Diversified Investment Fund Focused on Small Cap Resource Stocks
