KSBI ratings lower: KSBI-52's ratings for its coverage of the Class 5A and 6A state basketball tournaments last week were 25 percent lower than for its Class A and B coverage the previous week, which adds credence to complaints that the station was at the wrong arena.

KSBI averaged a 0.9 for its coverage of the larger classes, topped by 1.2 game ratings for the Choctaw-Sapulpa 6A girls quarterfinal and Putnam North-Edmond Santa Fe 6A boys semifinal. The previous week, KSBI averaged 1.2 for its A-B coverage, topped by a 1.8 for the Class A girls final between Howe and Fort Cobb-Broxton.

Some fans had complained that KSBI should have televised games from 2A, 3A and 4A at State Fair Arena, which included top scorers Rotnei Clarke of Verdigris and Keiton Page of Pawnee, instead of the larger classes at Ford Center.

Internet ‘Madness': CBS has expanded its "NCAA March Madness on Demand” Internet coverage of the NCAA men's basketball tournament to encompass all 63 games and users will not be required to register.
