Strahan joins Fox studio show: Fox's "NFL Sunday” studio show is growing even more crowded with the addition of Michael Strahan, a former star New York Giants defensive end. Strahan, who signed a three-year contract for a reported $2.3 million annually, is expected to sit between Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson on Fox's studio set in Los Angeles. Also on the studio team are host Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw. During a conference call this week, Strahan showed he's not afraid to criticize his former Giants teammates. He said the team needs to unload unhappy tight end Jeremy Shockey, an Ada native. "I don't think you gain much by keeping a guy around,” he said. "Regardless of how well he plays for you, there's always that tension, and that's one thing you can't have if you're expected to go back and repeat.”
