BCS in 3-D
If you’re not going to Miami to watch the BCS championship game, the next best thing might be to watch it in 3-D.

Fox is close to announcing a deal to broadcast the game in 3-D in about 150 theaters nationwide, including a few in Oklahoma.

Other networks are getting into the 3-D act. On Thursday night, the NFL Network showed the Oakland-San Diego game in select theaters in Boston, Los Angeles and New York.

Fox’s "BCS Selection Show,” 7 p.m. Sunday on KOKH-25, likely will include a spirited debate between Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson on the bowl selections. They will join host Chris Rose and analyst Charles Davis.

Fox plans to interview the coaches of the teams in the BCS title game.

Curtis Fitzpatrick, a Sports Animal radio network personality and co-host of Cox’s "SportsNight Oklahoma,” will join Mike Wolfe and Rod Thompson in broadcasting both the Class 6A and 5A championship games for Fox Sports Oklahoma (Cox 37).

DirecTV will air the games on channel 679. Dish will air the 6A final on 451 and the 5A on 453.

OU quarterback Sam Bradford and guard Duke Robinson, and OSU wide receiver Dez Bryant and punter Matt Fodge, will be up for honors in the "ESPNU College Football Awards,” 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday on ESPN.
