OSU basketball notebook: Melinda Mercado has big game
Freshman Melinda Mercado made her minutes count in Sunday’s game. Mercado played just four minutes in the 85-80 win over TCU, but she had two rebounds and two steals, one of which came with 1:31 left and OSU leading 81-80.
"I gave her the player of the game,” Andrea Riley said.
Taylor Hardeman said: "Without her (Mercado), I don’t know if we would have won.”
