Outdoors notebook: Meeting on CRP in OKC

The U.S. Department of Agriculture ’s Farm Service Agency has scheduled a public meeting in Oklahoma City on the Conservation Reserve Program.

Many parts of the CRP address wildlife and habitat needs in states, such as bobwhite buffers for quail.

The public meeting will be Sept. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel .
