by Chris Brannick Published: June 12, 2014

The Notre Dame Club of Oklahoma City and the Bishop McGuinness Alumni Association is hosting a meet-and-greet with McGuinness alum Steven Perry.

Perry, who plays midfielder for Oklahoma City Energy FC, is also a Notre Dame alum along with fellow teammate Michael Thomas. The two will be at McGuinness High School at 801 NW 50th street in Oklahoma City on Friday at 7 p.m. for the meet-and-greet in the Commons Area at the school. Fans can talk with the players as well as take pictures. The event is free to the public.

Perry has played in all 12 matches for Energy FC in its inaugural season in the United Soccer League’s Pro division. The 2007 graduate of McGuinness is second on the team in scoring with three goals.

Thomas, the team captain, has logged the most minutes for Energy FC. Thomas has played all but six minutes this season and has one goal, the game-winner in stoppage time against the New York Red Bulls Reserves on May 31.

Oklahoma City returns to action Saturday at 7 p.m. with a contest against Sacramento Republic FC, who is also in its inaugural season in the league.
