President Barack Obama names David Boren as intelligence panel leader
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama today named University of Oklahoma President David Boren as co-chairman of his Intelligence Advisory Board .
Meeting in the Cabinet Room with the board and senior intelligence officials today, Obama said Boren, a former U.S. senator, and former U.S. Sen. Chuck Hagel will now lead the panel that was created during Dwight Eisenhower 's presidency.
