Obama not the cornerstone of democracy

Published: December 15, 2013

Americans have had enough of Barack Obama's liberal ideology! Where in the Constitution or U.S. Code did this president think health care was codified as a right? Obama has for years taken advantage of his position to achieve his personal goals, not to do what's best for the country. And, he seems to be president only of and for minorities.

In the Trayvon Martin case, Obama joined ranks with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, but has failed to condemn black-on-white crimes like the outrageous game called Knock Out. At the expense of the majority, the 35 million he wants to insure with Obamacare represents the poor and uninsurable — 11 percent of the population. Obama has been the standard-bearer for homosexuals, estimated at 2 percent of the population and, thus, another minority. In the illegal immigration issue that's been plaguing this country for decades, Obama sides with illegal immigrants — another minority.

He's part of an ethnic minority himself and was mentored by America-hater Jeremiah Wright, so it doesn't take much to figure out what he's doing or why he's doing it. Under Obama, the majority isn't worthy of its government's interest or consideration. As a socialist, Obama has apparently decided that the people are incapable of making our own choices. As a statist, he believes the government should be the focus of everything for everybody.

So far, though, his mindset has been the opposite of the cornerstone of democracy — that the majority rules.
