Oklahoma official questions state pension mandates
Stopping the practice of legislators granting cost-of-living adjustments for state retirees without appropriating money to fund them is a key recommendation by the governor’s point man on ways to improve the state pension systems.
State Treasurer Ken Miller is also calling for establishing a minimum age for retirement eligibility for all new, nonpublic safety employees.
